| I use many different hardwoods in the construction of my
guitars. Figured woods are most desirable for appearance rather than sound or resonance. I have used up to 12 different woods to construct one guitar. That's fine as long as they are all hardwoods and the grain follows one direction. Some hardwoods are much heavier than others. Please consider this fact when ordering a custom-made guitar. Figured topwoods can make or break the appearance of a guitar. I do my best to give each guitar I build a unique symmetry that will inspire musicians for years to come.
